Colaton Raleigh near Sidmouth and Woodbury is the Parish where George was living in 1628.I am familiar with Colyton which is near Seaton and Axmouth and home to many ancient Weekes'.
There seem to be some connections bet. the Weekes Families and two other families besides the Hellings/Hellins Family and they are the Ballyman/Ballymonds and the Baron/Barrons.Would you have any insight with either?According to Gillian Seeley the Woodbury Historian, the Ballyman family operated an inn and tavern during the late 1500's in downtown Woodbury which building is still there and goes by the name of "Ballymans".A William Weekes married a Grace Ballymonde in 1591 in Woodbury and it is very possible that this William could be the father of our George of Dorchester.
