A better example might be Haplotype Q..........the most common form for Native Americans..........if one found it in Ireland..........one would be somewhat surprised.......it doesnt historically belong there......
Is it impossible: well, of course not........is it probable: no
and certainly not 1,000 years ago..........
Thus the various subclades cluster.........in their areas of origin or areas of bottleneck.......like Irish......who were very bottlenecked.......trapped by the Atlantic Ocean.
So an I1 type in Ireland that has such small numbers of this type...........whereas this type is huge in Norway and Sweden..........well you get the point.
