I have the book by Alfred Dolge..somewhere.Arthur Lewis Wessell was my great-grandfather. He was a graduate of Columbia Law School but never practiced law. I have copies of all the patents on the piano actions created by him and his father Otto Wessell. I have all sorts of info about the piano company. Lost most of the wealth in stock market crash in 1929. They started out with Steinway and Sons and opened Wessell, Nickel and Gross. I do not know who Charles Wessell was. I do have a letter, handwritten from John Steinway I got in the early 1980's. Steinway was 93 at the time and still "on the board" at Steinway and Sons. He was the last of the Sons..He recalled my relatives.
They are buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery in a special mausoleum in New York.
