This document is a photocopy sent to me by Harriet Lytle of Oregon in 1994 was found by Don & Linda Hiday of Elwood Indiana.
She sent her family line and included a note which states that she found this quite a mystery.It however has to do with the Whelchel's in Indiana and is a Q. Claim posted as a "Non-resident" notice.It begins:"STATE OF INDIANA - HANCOCK COUNTY, SS:In the Hancock Circuit Court of Hancock County, in the State of Indiana, September Term, 1918. William E. Morse versus Jacob Hiday, et al. Complaint to Quiet Title to Real Estate, No 14123...."
