There are a few coincidences in your posting about a possible Whisenhunt and Reel or Burke connection.
1st: The wife of Ples Adam Whisenhunt (b. abt 1769 Lincoln Co., NC, d. 14 Oct 1849 Carroll Co., GA) was known as Barbery B., and is thought to have been a Native American woman. She was reported to have been buried in a Native American style of grave in Carr Cemetery (aka McRae Cem). That cemetery has since been bulldozed. Her given name was probably Barbara, because some of her descendants were given that form of the name. We do not know what the B. stands for.
2nd: Barbery B. did live to be at least 100 yrs of age. In 1850 she is listed in Brewer, Pike Co., Arkansas as being 75 years old. In 1870, she is listed in Fannin Co., Texas as being 99 years old. She died in about 1877 in Fannin Co., Texas, which is in NE Texas.
3rd: The descendants of Ples Adam Whisenhunt and his wife Barbery B. lived Georgia, then Arkansas, then Texas, and then some went to Oklahoma.
I can't help but wonder if Barbery B. was a widow of a Burke. Maybe the B. stands for Burke.
Maybe if you can give me some dates, we can look at this more effectively.
