Danny: In your post you said William Eugene White was a printer and so was his father. On the 1920 Seminole, OK Census Page 243 William Eugene White 46 states he was born in MS and his father was born in MI, mother US.
Since William E. White was born 1874 MS it might be his father was also in MS on the 1870 census.William E. White had to be on the 1880 census somewhere so I decided to check it out.Your Grandfather Riley was born in AR 1913 according to the 1920 census.
I went to the 1880 Ancestry.com Census records and found the following which might be of help.Since the census only has initials it is unclear if this W. E. White is the same man as William E. White you have; however the head of the household states he was an editor which would go along with the fact William E. White's Obit. stated his father was a printer.I hope this could be a lead for you.

A thought I had might suggest his father's name was Moses Riley but that is just a thought. It will be hard to find him on the 1900 census unless he is still shown as M. R. White. Normanormawand@aol.com
