Betty, My ggg grandmother Jane Whiteside was born 1832 in Liverpool. Her father was Thomas Whiteside. Thomas was a shoemaker. Jane's sisters were Bella, Mary Ellen, another (ann?) with surname Craig, and brothers Frederick and Thomas.I haven't any primary records on her siblings. Reading over the Lancashire online records I am persuaded to think that Jane's Father was married to Jane Haynes and we share ancestors.I am trying to prove that my Jane belongs to the Thomas who married Jane Haynes.
