It is a small world. We have been around Yorkshire and the city of York. My wife's Riley family came from Soyland Moor, near Ripponden, and during the industrial revolution came down to the mills of Rochdale. Another part of her family, Burke-McNerney, came from somewhere in Ireland to Manchester and then Rochdale. The Suffolk portion, Tyrrell-Howes,started in Badwell Ash, near Bury St. Edmunds, moved to Peterborough where they met up with and married part of the Yorkshire-Rochdale Riley group and moved back to Rochdale. The Rileys-McNerneys moved to the States and so began another story.
