Hello Lori:Read your post.My great-grandmother was Adelaide Wible (a different spelling); born Mason City, Illinois May 17, 1840; dau. of Lewis Wible and Mary Jane Whitehand.With those dates, it could be that your Adalaide may have been a sister to my Lewis Wible, I do not have his birthdate, nor birthplace.He could have named his daughter after his sister, and mispelled it!Just a "stab in the dark", but if you know of a Lewis Wible, it could be!I have read the Wible Genforum, and find that they were in Penna.Time and places, could be that Lewis came to Illinois from Penn...........many did about then.
