The Johann Heinrich Wick that I mentioned in post 301 is not the one you are seeking because he died in 1819 but it is possible that some of his descendants were named Heinrich. He had a son Heinrich* born in 1813 and that Heinrich had a son, also named Heinrich, born in 1845.That was a very common name in each generation.Heinrich's* brother was Daniel Adam, 1820 who died in Brooklyn, NY in 1886.Johan Heinrich had 10 children, and Heinrich* had 6.Daniel Adam had 6, John b.1843 in Jersey City, NJ, d. 1925 in Brooklyn, NY, Anna b. 1845 in Jersey City, Zeilta b. 1846 Brooklyn, Adam P. b.1852 in Brooklyn, and Doretta b. 1851 in New York, NY, d. same.Doretta is the only descendant I have information on.She married Johan Christian Buhrendorf and has many descendants of that name in NY, and NJ, and one family in Colorado, a few in OH, and WA.Johann Heinrich had brothers who immigrated and uncles or cousins who possiblyimmigrated. There were large numbers of these Wicks in Marburg, Germany and some still live there. I'm not sure this helps but it seems there is a possibility this is the family you are looking for.
