I am related to a Jeanette Mary Wick (April 25, 1925)who married a Raymond John Jonen ( May 17, 1922-November 14,
1990).They had three daughters-names with-held for privacy reasons.
WICK, SCHWISTER, FORESTER, WEAIND, JONEN, LINGER, LENGER
I also have in my database a Joseph R. Wick who married an Elsie Schwister (born Abt. 1904-died Aft. December 1965).I
know little to nothing about them and wondered if you had any information on them?
Elsie Schwister was born Abt. 1904 (Source 1910 Census); died After December 1965 (Source: Albina Forster Weiand's
Funeral Book); married Joseph R. Wick (Source: Alois Weiand's Funeral Book); died After December 1965 (Source:Albina
Forest Weiand's Funeral Book)
The parents of Elsie SCHWISTER were:Henry Schwister born Abt. 1874 and Clara Anna Jonen born February 1879.
They
were married November 19, 1902 in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin..but where, I don't know.Possibly at St. Martin's
Catholic Church in Granville.
I also have a Leander Wick married to a Gertrude Schwister.Gertrude was also a daughter ofHenry Schwister born Abt.
1874 and Clara Anna Jonen born February 1879.
Can you add any details?
Thank you in advance,
Susan

Possibly related to this family from the TRIER area of Germany...
My LINGER ancestors came fron the Trier area and settled in the Town of Greenfield, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They attended church at St. Martin's in West Granville, Milwaukee county, Wisconsin. When this missionary church closed down, they traveled to Fussville, Waukesha County to attend church there.
Christian LENGER, Sr.then sttled somewhere around Aztalan, Jefferson County, Wisconsin, relocating again by 1865 to Stearns County, Minnesota. His son, Christian LENGER-later changed his name to LINGER, lived in Jefferson, Jefferson County, WI for a while, then moved to Oconomowoc, Waukesha County, Wisconsin.
The Lenger family can be found on the 1850 census in Greenfield, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
Sometime about 1852, the Lenger Family (without Christian or Margaret) moved to Jefferson, Wisconsin, where another son, Anton, was born 27 January 1853.(They are there when the 1860 census is taken in the town of Aztalan.)
