Okay, I think we're on to something here. You're right about the same names being used generation after generation, especially in the Cook family and probably the Wierman's. Benjamin Franklin Wierman was born July 31, 1808, Adams Co., Pa.; died Jan. 26, 1881, Bendersville, Adams Co., Pa. He is buried at Brethern Luthern Cem., Adams Co., Pa. He was the son of Nicholas B. Wierman (1755-1843) & Mary Bender of Huntington, Adams Co., Pa.
Sarah Cook was born about 1802 in York Co., Pa., the daughter of Isaac Cook (c.1770-1842) & Sydney Evans. (1768-1821) Sarah died June 20, 1850, in Bendersville. I'm not sure where she is buried. Isaac Cook (c.1770-1842) was the son of my 4th gr. grandfather, Jesse Cook (1744-1818) & Mary Wierman. (1746-1824) Jesse Cook was the son of Peter Cook (1700-1779) & Sarah Gilpin (1706-1783)
I don't know if Benj. F. & Sarah were Friends, but everyone else mentioned and most of their families were. They belonged to basicly three meetings; Warrington Friends Meeting, York Co., Huntington Friends Meeting in what is now Adams Co. and Menallen Friends Meeting, Adams Co., Pa.
