Hi Ann, Capt Thomas Wiggin of NH (not to be confused with Capt Thomas Wiggins of Jamaica, Long Island, NY...some Mormon records combine the two families erroneously) and his wife Catherine Whiting had three children. One was son Thomas 2 who married Sarah Barefoot (not an Indian, she the sister of Capt Walter Barefoot of Piscataqua). This Thomas 2 had son Thomas 3 (1664-1726/7) who married a woman named Sarah. She was more than likely Sarah Calley. She was called "the Widow Palmer" who, after husband Thomas Wiggin died, married James Palmer of Stratham, blacksmith, whose will was probated 20 Aug 1740.The above Thomas 3 and Sarah (probably Calley) had son Thomas 4 (1698-1776) who married Sarah Piper, daughter of Samuel and Abigail (Church) Piper.Hope this helps. It is indeed very confusing because in each subsequent generation of six to ten children, each had a Thomas and an Andrew. Tell me who your grandma's father and/or grandfather were and I can probably give you the line.Debbie Wilson, North Sandwich, NH.
