I wanted to touch base about the Burn/Wigglesworth connections in KY.The James anderson family lived in Clay, Bath, and Montgomery.I do not believe they moved but the co., lines did, Andersons left Mt. Sterling Montgomery Co., 1829 and arrived in Adams Co., Mendon,Lima area in ILHe died 1830. His son James H married Sarah Burns in 1850.And he was known by the name "Worth" in fact in his daughters obituary he is mentions by that name.
I am very interested about the Burns family. also.Sarah Burns married James H. (Worth) Anderson and was buried in we believe the Gallemore Cemetery outside Lima IL.
Tax records 1820 show Anderson family and Wigglesworth family in Bath Co., It is family notes that claimed that his father had married a Wigglesworth girl. I found a marriage in Lexington but the dates are not adding up.You see James Jr. was given a birth date of 1813 but the marriage did not take place until 1815.
I need to tie this James anderson with our family but can't seen to find the connection
Surnames James Anderson from VA. William Flood from KY Burns from KY? and Horner family of Hancock Co., IL
Nina Julia Anderson Horner married Milton Horner in IL
Sarah Burnsand two brothers ended up in Adams Co.,IL also. Family tradition is that James H. (Worth) first marriage was in 1850 and he had married the help.
I have been looking for any connection I can use to find her and her brothers parents. She was born in KY (Census info).
Trigg KY has been found in various family treesbut I really would be surprized if that were true.
Would you be kind enought to contact me I would like to compare notes on the Wigglesworths and the Burns families
