Your ancestors are not the easiest to track down. But you're proved me with a clue and I do thank you for that.
Now before we correspond, please keep in mind that while I try to brain storm it might reguire some patience on your part.I certaintly dont' have all the answers but do have some clues. If you are willing to wade though a bunch of cluster families and not be impatient, I'll be happy to try to help you gather additional informaation.I say this only because very recently I unintentially managed to irritate any researcher and after hours of labor on my part, it was most unrewarding.
For starters, I think that you are correct in assuming that you also have Key ancestors,Everyone connects to someone. And I think that it's no coincidene that William looper b 1825 who died in Overton Co TN in 1863 was married to a Sarah Sally Key. D/of Tandy Key,And that one of the children of Salley and William Lopper was named Anderson WILBURN Looper.
Stovall is a name that connects with many Wiburn families of VA.And Unk KEY m Wm Stovall b 1785 in VA.As stated there were a number of Wilburn cluster families that go on for many genertions, as do 99% of these early VA families. For example George Stoval m Mary Polly Wilburn in VA,(Anderson is also a name found among many Wilburn families.)
If you are willing to wade though a number of cluster families until we can together locatea probable candidate for your Willburn line, I will be more than happy to work with you,
