The November 2004 issue of ANTIQUES magazine on p. 140 has an article picturing an excellent c. 1800-1812 portrait of Benjamin Chew Wilcocks (1776-1845) painted by Benjamin Trott.
I am scanning this page in case any of Mr. Wilcocks's descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the Wilcocks family ought to have it--it's too good to be missed by the family.
My email address can be found by clicking on my name above.
If it were a portrait of a Mr. Pease, I'd sure want someone to do the same for me.
