I just found your post from last summer. Exactly where is the "Wilcoxson Cemetery" that you visited. I have been to the Aaron and Hannah (Ward) Wilcoxson family cemetery at the site of their farm near Fredericksburg, IN. (I have stones from their 1808 cabin fireplace next to me as I write). The markers are not readable now but the DAR ladies noted the inscriptions in the 1930s. This is obviously not the one that you refer to. It is my understanding according to her contemporaneous obit that Mary Ann Standiford Wilcoxson is buried in the Standiford family cemetery and that her husband Issac (son of Aaron and Hannah) died in Iowa after they moved there. The widowed Mary Ann got herself and her children back to IN to her father's house before she died. Subsequently the children were raised by various family members. My husband is the great-grandson ofher son, Henry Harrison Wilcoxson.
There is a published genealogy of the Wilcoxson family in Indiana, but I will have to rat around in the my files to find the name. Copies at the Indiana Historical Society in Indianapolis and the Allen Co. Library in Fort Wayne.
I have a lot of info on this family in my files. Linda Lyons LyonsJR@aol.com
