George & Jacob in 1760, followed by Henry Weidner to a section of South Fork of Catawba River in NC. Nicholas remained in PA. George was Major George Wilfong b 1740 d May 3, 1818 or 1819 in Lincoln County, NC his grave is at the Old Dutch Meeting House in Newton, NC. He married in 1761 Mary (Poffle) Mull or Muel (widow of Abraham Muel. George was a Major in the ND North Carolina Regiment of Rowand County, NC under Col Charles McDowell, during the Rev War (REF. DAR membership papers of Grace Wilson Lynch Natl> # 419993. Descents of George and Mary were: John b April 8, 1762 d. June 18, 1838 married Hannah Sigmon in 1783.Elizabeth marreid Jacob Cline or Klein. Sarah (Sally) married Adam Gross. Mary married Daniel Weider; Katherine married Andrew Hoyle. Peter b 1775 d 1841, married Susannah Katherine Hoyle.
