Hi Sandra, FYI in case you don't have it, Beryl married George Enever and had three children. Eldest was/is George, don't know where he is or his family. Second was Donald Norman who died in 2008. This is my father. Third is Beryl, we have some contact with her, she had a stroke many years ago and is in a nursing home. I started doing family research after my mother died in 2004. My brothers and sister and I were quizzing my dad about his family. He knew absolutely nothing about the Enever side, no grandparents names, nothing. He knew his grandfather Alfred John Williamson, as he used to take him in his truck when he was a little boy. I posted a note on Ancestry message boards and got a reply from my dads cousin Jan James, so she gave me a lot of info going right back to Thomas and Jane ? She has since passed away. Sandra I have a few questions and thoughts to share with you. Have we ever found out the surname of Jane wife of Thomas born in Ireland? Have you researched their other two children Jane and James? I have possibly found a bit about them! Our John died very young, with Liver and Kidney disease as did Alfred John I think, did Louisa remarry? I can find no death for her in Vic! I wonder what took John to Middlesex from Cumberland. It would be great to connect to the Cumberland side of the family, I am sure they could fill in a couple of blanks for us. As to my Thomas, I can't seem to find out anything either. I shall have to query my dads cousin to see if he knows anything about him, hope he is still with us and at the same residence. The Williamson family had a lot of land around what was once called Tunstall, now called Vermont. I am not sure however if this included Thomas!
That's about it for now, hope to hear from you soon.
