Sorry, but I've just begun looking into this family. I have an ancestor who's name was Mary Snodgrass when she died in 1906. I've found other records, with one that lists her name as Marietta Myrtle Williams. The Williams name is a total dead end, however. Then just recently, I found that her mother was Elizabeth Sinky and found Mary was living with Matthew Sinkey on the 1850 census. On the next page is his brother James and between them is Hyatt Willison. Also, a couple of pages away, her mother has remarried and her sisters have the last name as Williamson. I then compared the information with the 1840, 1830, and 1820 censuses. I found Hyatt living next door to Jos Sinkey in 1830 and Josiah Sinkey in 1840. That is why I was seeking more information myself. It looks like there are several Willison Families living in Licking, Ohio in 1820, including Hiatt. There are two families with a male over 45, Elisha and James. Unfortunately, neither can be found in 1810 to compare ages of children. I'd think that there would be some records in that county's genealogical society, however, since the family lived there for so many years.
