I am a Wilmarth descendant, and while I am not researching this family, I have some info which might help someone.

James, b. 3/30/1769; d. 4/29/1849, bur. Pittsford, MonroeCo., NY; m. 2/21/1790 Abigail Woodruff; she was b. 3/20/1772.They lived first at Westford, VT, then at Victor, NY, and then Pittsford, NY.Their children were: Nancy, b. 12/28/1792; d. 1864; m. 7/6/1812 Herman Castle.Their children were Norman, Allen, Harriet N., George H. That's all I know about the Wilmarths.The fact that so many of the marriages of James children occurred on 2/21/ (though of different years) makes me wonder if that information is accurate.
