Do you think that possibly our Morris may be a son of either Anthony or Wolfgang, then? That may be the case. If it is, I have found nothing on either of these two men. You gave me the two names of John Jacoband Philip Weinbrenner, so I will look once more in my files to see if I can find any info on either of these two names. Maybe I might be able to come up with something.
By the way, did I ever tell you what I found on our Native(Indian)American? I think that she may have been my gr.gr.grandmother, Lydia Wyant. She was born on 18 Jul., 1817 in Bucks Co.,(I think), and died around 1920 or 1921 in New Florence, Pa. She was about 103 years of age. I have a picture of her, and a few of her family members. They all lived in New Florence, St.Clair Twp., Westmoreland Co., Pa.
I always thought it was Mary Cohoe, but her ancesters originated in France, then into England, then into Ireland, then to Canada and down into the U.S., although they could have married into some of the Native American Tribes, too. Lydia Wyant Winebrenner has all the facial features of the Indian. I don't know what Tribe she was related to. I do know that the Squirrel Indians lived on the mountain that we, the Winebrenners lived on, but there may have been other Tribes in that area, too.
Well, Carol, I will go and try some more to see if I can locate any info on Morris and the other two men you have mentioned.
P.S. I will try to look up the info that I have on the Cohoe family.
