First of all I would like to "THANK YOU" to all who answered my call regarding my family tree. I would like to clarify some big discrepency in our William R.'sIf anyone is in the Adams/Pike county Illinois area perhaps will they double check on these family marriages.William Richardson (carrying his mother's maiden) CHANDLER md. Elizibeth WINNER 1)KILGORE, a widow with son Isaac. There is at least one other William R. who seems to be Wm. Riley; perhaps he is the son of James--brother of Amassa--and it was he who married Amanda Finnell. My William Richardson and Elizabeth WINNER KILGORE CHANDLER ((as I hve found more and more cousins, this seems to be the way we have all grown up knowing her as!!)) moved to KS in 1879; settled and lived out their lives in western Kansas. this William Richardson's Civil War records confirm the information I have always grown up with. My Grandpa CHANDLER and grandma visited the cousins there several times and the gravesites untill the cemetery was moved to allow for the Webster lake development.William and Elizabeth had a large familiy and several boys. The 1st(Casper) died in infancy leaving my gtgrdfather to be the oldest son. All the children were born in the Adams/Pike county area except the youngest.Hope We can give William Riley back to his correct family (smile) and keep William Richardson in his proper burial place.Looking forward to hearing from all concerned family descendents.
