Winstead, Rosemary P.ROSEMARY P. WINSTEAD Services will be held for Mrs. Rosemary P. Winstead who passed away peacefully at her home in Santa Cruz with her loving family by her side. She was 90 years of age. Rosemary was a native of Washington DC. She grew up in Burlingame where she became a longtime resident. At the age of 17 Rosemary played the harp for the San Francisco Symphony. She was a Honored Queen in Job's Daughters. In 1933, she married her childhood sweetheart, Graften C. Winstead. She enjoyed being a buyer for Macy's for 10 years. She and her husband moved to Santa Cruz in 1964. Rosemary enjoyed knitting, sewing, traveling and was a long time San Francisco Giants fan. She loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Graften Winstead; son, William Winstead; daughter, Wendy Baker, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Gloria Peet, and many nieces, nephews and many close friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at Santa Cruz Memorial Park Funeral Home, 1927 Ocean St. Ext., Santa Cruz, CA. Contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817. All arrangements are entrusted to the care of Santa Cruz Memorial Park Funeral Home.
