BELINDA NEWS:
DAVID BYERS, of Des Moines, has been visiting with his aged father, A.R.
BYERS.
J.D. RAPER and family have been visiting for some time with his parents, MR.
and MRS. T.J. RAPER, of this vicinity.
AUNT MARY RICHARDS, of Knoxville, and little grandson, EVERETT, have been
visiting with ANDREW FOGLESTROM's for the past week.
W.T. LONG went to Ottumwa, this week, to visit with his cousins, CHARLES and
THOMAS LONG, who are very sick.
On Friday night of last week death entered the home of MR. and MRS. DAVID
WIREN and took from them their little son, CHARLES ALFRED. This little one
was born February 25, 1908, and lived, lacking only a few hours of, two
months. It seemed never to be free from pain and the loving parents did
everything in their power for its comfort. Funeral services were conducted
by Rev. Smith, Sunday, at the home, and the little form was laid to rest in
Zion Cemetery. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the community.
A.R. BYERS, an early pioneer and one of the best known men in this vicinity,
passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Arrangements for the
funeral service have not yet been made.
