Your Jesse was the son of John Calvin Wisehart (b. Sept. 1868 IN), & Laura L. Richardson (b. Sept. 1873 IN) who lived in Adams Twp., Madison Co. IN.John Calvin Wisehart was the son of Martin Wisehart (1846 - 1907) & Amanda Pring (1845 - 1924) who also lived in Madison Co. IN.Martin Wisehart was the son of James Wisehart (c1820 IN - Feb. 7, 1874) & Anna Keesling (1823 - 1879) who m. 1843 in Henry Co. IN and lived in both Madison and Henry counties.James Wisehart was the son of Benjamin Wisehart (1784 VA - 1853 Mechanicsburg, Henry Co. IN;James was the younger brother of my ancestor, Thomas Wisehart (1816 IN - 1884 KS). The identity has not been absolutely proven of the mother of James and Thomas and their siblings: John Louder Wisehart (b. Nov. 1814 OH), Serena/Cyrena Wisehart, Ellenor Wisehart, and Absalom Wisehart (b. Dec. 1821). There is a record of the marriage of a Benjamin Wisehart to a Sally Louther in 1809 Montgomery Co. VA.Benjamin's oldest known son was Wilson Wisehart (1811 VA - 1892 Dudley Twp., Henry Co. IN). However, my ggm wrote a short "family history" indicating that Thomas' mother (and, so, your James' mother) was named Sally "Loder" and that Benjamin married her in Wayne Co. IN (on the border of Ohio) before settling in Henry Co. IN.Because the next child born was named John Louder Wisehart, I believe Sally's maiden name was probably Louder. So, (1) Sally (nickname for Sarah) Louther in VA was the same as Sally Louder or(2) Sally Louder was the second wife.I am carrying them as different people. In any case, Benjamin married Naomi McDorman in 1825 Henry Co. IN, and had 8 more children. Benjamin migrated to Indiana with older brother, Thomas Wisehart (1774 VA - 1844 Wayne Co. IN) who had m. Mary "Polly" Addair 1805 in Montgomery Co. VA.
