Thomas Gordon is the s/o Jesse Benjamin Weisinger and Martha Jane King (his 2nd wife). Jesse was born Dec 22, 1847 at Union Co., Ark and he died Jan 17, 1918 at is buried as the Macedonia Cem., Ida, LA. He served in the Civil War and enlisted from Miller Co., Ark. Martha was born at Calhoun Co., Ark., and died at LA. She and Jesse had 9 children: Thomas, Eli, Edward, Elijah, Nancy, Margaret, Minnie Ola, Martha and Mary. Jesse's first wife was Mary Ann Hill, b Aug 20, 1848 at Ark; and died Dec 11, 1905 at Ark and is buried at the Crossroad Cem., Quachita Co., Ark. They were married Oct 16, 1865and divorced Sept 26, 1867 with no children.
Jesse is the s/o William Thomas Wisinger and Elizabeth Ann M. Graves and they had 15 children. I can send you more information if you're interested.
William Thomas is the s/o John Jacob Wisinger and Mary Elizabeth UNK. Thias family was from South Carolina and moved first to Alabama, then to Arkansas with their 5 children.
And lastly, William Thomas is the s/o Johann Jacob Wisinger and UNK. Johann arrived in the Colonies at Philadelphia, Pa. on Sept 14, 1753 on the ship Edinburg from Rottersdam via Portsmouth, England. He settled at Charleston, SC. We know that Johann had at least two children: John Jacob, b 1775 and a daughter (name unknown). This can be seen on the 1790 Census for the Charleston Dist., SC.
