The Spring 2010 issue of ANTIQUES AND FINE ART magazine in an advertisement on p. 59 pictures a very fine needlework sampler made by Mary Wisler of Columbia, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, dated 1826.
This fine sampler should be made known to the Wisler family. I am scanning it in case any of the descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the family ought to have it--it is too good to be missed by the family. It may not have extensive genealogy value, but it certainly does have a whole lot of family and historic value.
My email address can be found by clicking on my underlined name above. Please respond by emailing me directly and not by posting a reply on this genforum site, which I might not see.
If it were a sampler made by an early Pease family member, I'd certainly want someone to do the same for me.
