My direct ancestors are of this line; my grandfather, Frank Lawrence Wiswall, was the younger son of Charles Dayton Wiswall, himself the son (I think) of the Charles E. Wiswall you mentioned. My grandfather was born in Watervliet in 1895, educated at Albany Law School, fought with the American Expeditionary Force on the Western Front in World War I, served one term in the New York State Senate, and later served as President of the Saratoga Raceway (standardbred harness horses, not thoroughbreds). He lived in Loudonville and in Saratoga, and retired to Castine, Maine, where he died in 1972.He is buried there with my grandmother, who lived until 1997.As far as any documents are concerned, feel free to contact me by email and I will see what I can find.
