I think this connects to mine. I am kin to the Pearl Wix buried in Woodlawn cemetery in Claremore. Here is a list of the Wix's buried there: WIX ALVA MILO7/28/1893 CECIL F.9/12/1894 DELLA1975 HAROLD R.1978 IDA KATE3/2/1990 JAMES W.1964 JOHN1918 JOSEPH1920 NARSISA L.1945 PEARL MAY1921
The Pearl May is Pearl May Gardner and she married John. They are not buried with the rest of the family so I don't know if they are kin to them or not. I know they left 2 young daughters behind. One was named Hazel b 1917 in Ok. She was raised by Pearl's mother and the other one started with a J but can't read it on the census. It may be Joacasta or Juanita. She was born in 1914 and went to live with Nancy's brother Jesse J.If this is the right family I would sure like to know what happened to the 2 girls after 1930. Also Pearl's mother stated in the census that John Wix was a "half-breed". I am not descended from him but wondered where he came from since I couldn't find him on the census.
