We have corresponded before regarding the Sheetz family, but it has been quite awhile.
On a research trip to the library in Ft. Wayne, Ind., I looked at some Berkley Co. records on microfilm and found the following from County Court Order Book 7, June 1785-Apr. 1786, pg. 226:
"An Indenture of Bargain and Sale with a receipt and memordandum of Livery? and Seezon? (I'm not real sure about these two words) thereon indorsed between Henry Sheets and Anne his wife of the one part and George Woltz and Peter Woltz Executors of Peter Woltz deceased of the other part were proved by the oaths of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded."
I can scan this document and e-mail it to you if you'd like.Have you made any further progress on Sheetz descendants?Would like to hear from you again.
