Aldo,
My great great grandfather was David D. Woodlock of St. Louis, MO. (born somewhere in Ireland, about 1834, died in St. Louis, 1918). I'm not sure how the Woodlocks of St. Louis are connected to each other, and how they are connected to those of Illinois and Indianan. But I do know that there were very few Woodlocks in the Midwest in the 1860-1880 period, so I wouldn't at all be surprised if they were connected, at least through their parents in Ireland.
I am still trying to sort out from where my ancestor emigrated (Dublin or Tipperary?), and which Woodlocks in the Midwest were his closest relatives. My email is [email protected], so if you would like to contact me directly in addition to posting, that would be great. I would be happy to share what I do know so far.
