Oscar (your great grandfather) was my uncle. I am his youngest brothers (Boyd H. Woodrum) youngest son. I believe Oscar was the second oldest of 12 children. His father (my grandfather) was Thomas Lightburn Woodrum. I'll do some checking, but I recall that Thomas was born around 1865 and died about 1945. I think his father was Seth Woodrum (again I'll check)and was born in the late 1840's. His wife was Cherokee.
The last time I saw your great grandfather was in the early 60's when I was about 7 or 8 years old. I remember that he had lost part of one of his feet due to a mining accident (a kettle bottom dropped and crushed it). I have much more that I can share with you. If your grandfather is still living ask him if he remembers Boyd and Ora(my mother). Send me a note and I will follow up.
