Vincent - I have been studying these lines in Wood and Wirt Counties and noted that based on what you provided here, that Presley, James and Jesse Woodyard, who ended up in Wood County, VA (WV), are who were brothers, were the sons of James out of Prince William (and not Richard Lee Woodyard) as so many researchers have stated. I also believe from what you and others have posted here that the line from John Woodyard to John Covert from Charles Co., MD., to Virginia is a totally different line (at least as far back as three generations - they may converge prior to that). Would it be possible for you to post, or either transcribe James Woodyard's estate (or email me directly). I would be glad to exchange information on original documentation (as you have presented the first actual documentation that could help sort out this mess) that I have seen. Thanks. Vickie
