Nancy, I will pass along some information I have found in the past ref. Peter Woolerys marriages.1-LDS Ancestral file. 4.15 - Peters AFN 1JDD-XT - he married according to this print outAnn Powell AFN BBPJ-1K. 22 Aug 1811. This was titled INDIVIDUAL RECORD, Copyright (c) 1987,August 1993 by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 2- From microfilmed Woolery info of E.E. Macy also can be found at LDS information, he gave Peter Woolery, married Peggy (Margaret) Cross, Aug 11, Madison County, KY. You readily see the conflict, and also found this marriage listed in "Kentucky Marriage", and that was in 1990 and I failed to note the author, but it is not an out of print book, so could be found again. This book also listed Peggy Cross marrying Peter Woolery 22 Aug 1811, Madison County, KY.
On the E. E. Macy information it list a Lucinda Woolery, born ca 1811 to Peter and Peggy Woolery; Lucinda married a John H. Brooks 14 Sept 1829 Madison County, KY.
3-Jerry Wentworth sent me information on this family and he had used Brodebund WFT Vol 5, Ed 1 tree 2900, date of import 16 May 1996 as his source and it gave Peter and Anne Powell Woolery marrying 7 Nov 1797 Harrison County, KY and had these children:Elizabeth, who married Samuel Pike.Martha, who married Charles Epperson, and there is a lot of Epperson information in numerous libraries.Patsy, no marriage listed. David, married Elizabeth Neely.
Jerry Wentworth had Peter and Peggy Woolerys child as Minerava Woolery, who married Herrod Ross.
Maybe this will give you places to look up information and decide which might be correct. It has been many years for this information to be passed from person to person by hand written notes and even with the computer I have made some real glicks by typoes.Good hunting. Loretta Moon Forrester
