Subj: Woolhaver, John & Philip -- Pennsylvania to Tennessee Date: 11/23/2000 To: WOHLEBEN-L@rootsweb.com
I'm looking for someone with Woolhaver's in Pennsylvania who is missing some members by 1830 (when they show up on the Tennessee Census).I'm researching Wolever (and various other similar spellings of the name) in Greene Co., TN (the 1850 Census lists John & Philip's birth place as Pennsylvania; I'm trying to find someone who can help me link to the earlier Wolever, et al's --- notice that Philip Woolhaver had a male age 70-80 living with him & Betsey (Elizabeth); possibly his & John's father or Betsey's father). This is some of what I have --- maybe you have more information?

By the 1880 census there is only a Henry Wolover, 34 and Martha, 49 (2 sons & three daughters) listed in Greene Co., TN.I think that this Henry's son Jacob is my husband's grandfather - Jacob Wolever.I have info on Jacob's descendants, but this information on what we believe are his ancestors, is still a little shaky.Maybe someone has information that will help.
