This may be what we Yanks call a shot in the dark but here goes anyway.
I recently discovered the ship that my English ancestors came over on.The ship was "Ship Hannibal".Apparently it was a packet that plyed the route from London to New York.
Jeramiah Woolnough(t) (age 25), his wife Maria (age 30), Dau. Maria, Son James, arrived in New York June 10, 1830.There was also, listed on the manifest a Susan Woolnough, age 20, and William, age 19, whom we presume were siblings of Jeramiah.
My question is this.Would the Hannibal have stopped over on its way to New York, or simply gone direct?Would there have been any documentation?
