I'm searching for info on David Workman, a merchant in Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas, from about 1799 though 1805. He was the senior partner in the firm of Workman and Carnochan. He may have been in Nassau earlier than this, but that is the earliest I can find in the Bahamas Gazette. He was involved in a couple of court cases in Charleston, SC in 1804. He died in Nassau in 1805. I would like to find out where he came from, and when he got to Nassau. Any information greatly appreciated. Will share what I have. Thanks.
