I am seeking information on Seaborn or Sebron McCook. I have found SEBRON MCCOOK listed on the 1910 Worth County, Georgia census as follows:
McCook, Sebron--headH---W---53. McCook, Gussie--wife---W---39. McCook, Daniel E.--son--W--11. (could be 14 but pretty sure it is 11:) McCook, Darius--son--W---8. McCook, James D.--son--W---3. McCook, Escola V.--daughter--W--1.
My great great grandfather, Patrick Hamilton McCook had a son, Seaborn McCook born about 1857. I have found them listed on the 1860 Hamilton County, Florida census (Jasper P. O.). I know that my gg grandfather and family went back to Georgia before his death in 1872 and I have found Patrick's family listed in Terrell County, Browns Station, GA. 1880.
Now I have found this SEBRON McCook who's birthdate would also be about 1857 and I am trying to find out if this is my Seaborn. I can see where the pronounciation could provide reason to spell it Sebron.
If anyone has information on this family or is connected to this family, please contact me. I would love to find a connection and share information on our McCook and connecting family lines.
