I have a will, written Nov 1781 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, by Richard Gibbons, that names: "Frances Wrather and Jane Wrather, daughter's of Mr Wrather and my dear cousin Elizabeth (Arrow?) Wrather, his wife....."
The other bequests in the will were to people by the last names of Arrow, Pierce, Harding & others.
The area of England, I believe was around St. John Parish, Westminster.
I have NO further information on the Wrather name, but am trying to track down my Gibbons connection..I am grasping at straws so to speak..Perhaps by connecting to Wrathers I may be able to find clues regarding my Gibbons family. Richard was a lawyer who trained in London and practiced in Nova Scotia.
