Kay: Just read your Wyatt leneage. My Great Aunt Ella Mary Knowles and I have been searching our Hanks leneage for years. She was a member of the Daughters of the Amearcian Revolution. She had lots of info.on her Bennett leneqage Here is what we have and how we connect to the Wyatt lenage. My G. Grandmother was Mary Alice (Hanks) Bennett b.June 6, 1859 McLennan co. Weco Tx. d. Andrew Morton of Drisdale Parish in Carolina co Virginia. Dr. Walter Bennett was a suggeon in the Revolutionary war with the Amelia Militia Second Virginia Brigade under the command on Brigadier General Robert Lawson.
Jane Wyatt Father and Mother
William 14 Wyatt and Elizabeth Eggleston daughter of Joseph and Anne (Pettus) Eggleston. Anne was the great grand daughter of Col. Thomas Pettus who gave the headright for John Wyatt to come to America in 1650. Have lots more History on the Wyatts from William to Adam if you want. Some of our dates differ just a little but not enough to dought.
