Steve and All--
I'm not at the above e-mail.My computer is broken and I'm using the neighborhood library computer.
Following is what's on my mind:
l.I do not think the Samuel Wyatt mentioned in John Wyatt's will is our Samuel Wyatt. Our Samuel Wyatt, b. abt 1790 --placement was abt 1808 in Jaspser Co. Ga when he married Sarah Ann Sheffield.I believe this same man was in the War of 1812, and I have his War of 1812 record saying he "returned home to Monticello, Jasper Co. Ga., about 1813.This man received bounty land in Dallas Co. Ar for his service in the War of 1812.I don't have the original copy--but found it typed out in a copy of the publication "Georgia Pioneers".
I cannot locate him on a census for 1820, or
1830--and assume he must not be head of household, and possibly living with his elderly parents.
In 1840 Samuel, Zachariah, John H., and Jesse are all listed on the 1840 Heard Co. Census--and of course 1850, they are in Dallas Co Ar.
I deducted that Matilda, listed on the 1850 census of Dallas Co. Ar., age 13, must be the daughter of Samuel and Sarah Ann Wyatt. She could not have been William's daughter, as if William died abt 1827 --even if Matilda was born in 1827--she would have been age 13 in 1840 and age 23 in 1850.
I didn't bring my Louisiana and Georgia records with me, but will go home and get them and send you what I found on the census of Jackson Co. La.I believe it is William's wife and Jesse, b. 1818 (the deaf and dumb Jesse) along with other Wyatt's who could be older children of William's.My Jesse Wyatt (listed in the 1840 census of Heard Co.) is the one in Dallas Co., with wife Mary.Their daughter, Sarah Ann Wyatt, b. abt 1845 married an unknown Welch sometime in 1860 and had two Welch children:
William David Welch, b. abt 1861 Tx(married Ann Adeline Ishmael, San Augustine Co. Tx) and Mary Elizabeth Welch, who married Marion Bee Sanders. The Wyatt's cannot be located in 1860--but I found them in San Augustine Co. Tx. in 1870.
The father of our Samuel Wyatt, say's some descendants of Zacariah Wyatt and JoAnna Delamar, is John Wyatt who died in Heard Co. Ga.I haven't looked at any Heard Co. Ga records.
2.We should be checking out Jasper Co. Ga. records, too:
Jasper Co. G. Marriages
12 Aug 1808 Samuel Wyatt to Sally Sheffield
13 Apr 1815 Patsy Sheffield m. Jacob Moore
The Moore family seems to be intermarried enough for researchers to have how our Samuel is related.

3.Nancy Moore Wyat
3.Susan Burgess Wyatt

4.John W. Wyatt
4.William H. Wyatt, b. 1812 Moragn Co.Lived in Jasper Co.
+ Cynthia Winfry
Wouldn't this be the Wm H. Wyatt referred to in the will. There are a number documents in Jasper Co. Ga where Wm H. Wyatt is in court with, one of which is with John Wyatt and Jefferson Spears vs Elijah Jones.
It would be too lenghty to repeat the legal records that Steve noted for Henry Co. Ga., so I will list the following without the record notations.I think I found this in a book, about Georgia Pioneers--this article about the Wyatt's--this is just part of it, the rest I'm trying to sort out.
