The 1900 C for Baltimore, MD, says that Virginia Wyatt (in Heritage Quest it is indexed as Wyath), a widow, age 52 yrs, born June 1847 in VA and married for 30 yrs. Both of her parents were also supposedly born in VA. She has birthed 7 children all of whom are still alive at the time of the 1900 census. We know 4 of them are living with her - all sons, William (P?), William (G?), Frederick, William N. The sons were born in VA but their father is said to have been born in PA while their mother was born in VA (that corresponds with Virginia Wyatt's birth place). The only record I can locate at this point is a birth for a Frederick Wyatt s/o Wm & Virginia in Apr. 1888 in Essex County, VA, pg. 1. You might want to get a copy of that birth record to see if any further info is available. The list I saw is only an Index. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any entries for the other children who reside w/ Virginia on the 1900 census. However, the naming pattern for them follows the usual German arrangement of giving all the same first name and then calling each one by the middle name (note a different middle initial for each William on the 1900 census). "Chataigne's Virginia Gazette and Business Directory 1888-1889 Essex County" doesn't include the name of Wyatt but that might be because no one in the family was prosperous enough. Good luck hunting up daddy. Still didn't locate a marriage.
