Hi I am looking for the the father if Moses Yarber they lived in Mcbrides Mills according to the pention records that I recieved for his widow who filed for pention cause Moses faught in the war of 1812.I do have some documentations that Moses moved to the darlington district with his two sisters and brother John yarber his siters hame was Catherine and Jamima. My great Aunt Bessie said they lived in the mountains there and really never spoke ofthere family. the Yarbers are documented in a few books suck and Heritage of Wautaga county which is online very interesting to read.Moses and his wife Elizabeth were married infront of a couple with the last name Philyaws.I dont have all of my information now but will post more as I get it back out. I also was told that my line is also part cherokee indian but dont know the connection.it makes it difficult to find out due to the fact that some of the documents that i have found tells that not many of my ancestors could write they marked everything with an Xmy line as I find it to be so far is as follows Moses Yarber b 1790 married Elizabeth Edwards children William Yarborough 1810 Moses Yarborogh b bet 1810-1820 ann yarber 7 15 1816 Mary Ann yarber John Yarber Catherine Yarber Jemima Yarber Jamima and Catherine nevre married they lived in the mountains and there is a story of them in teh Heritage of wautaga county that is very interesting if you are interested I will post. william Yarber married Polly Lunsford darlington sc child Ed J H yarber who married COra Bell Kirby Oct 3 1902they settled in the beaver dam area of virginia where they were married there children are Lonnie Jim Jessie Stanley Blaine Don Otto Ted Bynam Waren Lula Mae Herminhe is really unknown due to the fact he lived in a cave no one knows if he is even alive anymore the last time we checked he shot at my dad and uncle when they went up to check on him and the family took that as he wanted to be left alone. Bynam died in ww 2 is burried at the arlington cememtary after he was buried at france the body was returned to the family to be burried here.
