No known connection, but from Samuel's age he could be a sibling of Louisa Jane Yeadon, born Yeadon in 1854 who emigrated to Australia in 1884 with her husband, William Mawson, together with their eldest child, Charles Frederick and my grandmother - believed to be their niece - Sarah Jane Jennings. They'd returned to Yeadon by 1891 and had at least 2 children born in NSW. The family were still listed in the 1901 Census.
Do you know the names of Samuel's parents?. I can then check this against Louisa's parents; she also had a younger brother, John Lincoln, who married Elizabeth Dixon & also emigrated to Australia.
Let me know if you need any more details.
Incidentally, Sarah Jane Jennings' paternal grandmother was Sarah Yeadon, but I still haven't proved any connection with Louisa Jane or John Lincoln. Another of my ancestors, Priscilla Marshall, married Reuben Hoyle Yeadon in Belper, Derbyshire, in 1863.
