The idea of such a source for the Yearwood name is extremely tempting. I am not quite ready to place everything on Heoroweard, however. I like leaps of faith more than I should, but certain problems arise here. Given the history of the saga itself there is the a chance the character name was taken from those known to the transcribers thus already in use at that time. The story having passed through many lips before finding paper and the resulting alterations of the tale for religious reasons makes even the names used within the tale suspect. I will except that someone of this name or like name inspired the use of the name in the tale though not any part of the tale. The later will have to wait for more proof.
