JUANITA JANE (HOW) LEE
Passed away January 23, 2008 after a long battle with kidney disease.
JUANITA was born January 29, 1937 in Pasco, Washington to HENRY WONG HOW and YOOK SIM LEE. She later moved to Portland Oregon where she would graduate high school, attend the Oregon College of Education, and meet and marry JOE YEE. She joined him in Seattle and they purchased a home in the Roosevelt neighborhood where they spent the past 47 years together, raising their three children and enjoying many hours with their family and grandchildren.
Despite having kidney disease and a number of other chronic conditions that complicated her life for nearly 15 years, JUANITA never lost her enthusiasm for the things that she had long loved -- her faith, her family and her grandchildren, and music. JUANITA was always singing, especially show tunes. She loved playing the piano and accordian and enjoyed classic musicals, regularly attending local performances. She enjoyed traveling around the Pacific Northwest.
JUANITA is survived by her husband of ove 47 years, JOE TUNG YEE, son JAMES YEE, his wife MELISSA and their daughters JAMIE and JENNA, son JEFFREY YEE, daughter JENNIFER YEE and her fiance WILL ROBBINS, step-daughter ALICE LOUIE, her husband ROD and their daughters MICHELLE CHRISTENSEN and her husband DOUG, and CHERYL EDE and her husband CHRIS, sisters JUNE YEE, LAURA CHANG, and DORA HOW, brothers AL HOW and HENRY HOW and many nieces and nephews.
The family is thankful for the support shown JUANITA by her brothers and sisters in the Northgate congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
