I am a Yeilding descendant and have done considerable work on this family.Richard Jackson Yeilding was the son of Francis Yeilding and his wife, Elizabeth Earle(s).He was born ca 1834 in Blount County, and died August 1859 according to Alabama Mortality Reocrds, 1860.He married Flora Ann Cargo in Blount County on 20 August 1853 (Blount County Alabama Marriage Records 1852-1860,pages 384-747, Volume D, page 449).Children from this marriage are Joseph S., born ca 1855, and Joan Alice, born 16 April 1856.The census records give her name as Anson; however, she was a female and married Richard Nation.
Francis Yeilding was the son of Richard Yeidling and Milly Mills.
Following the death of Richard Jackson, Flora Ann married Bailey/Bayley Cornelius 8 November 1860.
My records indicate that Flora Ann was a daughter of Samuel Cargo. It appears that Samuel Cargo married twice, and Flora Ann is daughter by his first wife...Sarah.If you could verify this, it would be helpful.Thanks.
