Yelland of Gosport, Hants, England

I am researching my father in law's family on his mother's side. His mother was Susan Ellen Yelland b. 1895, and she had one sister Beatrice May b. 1899 and a brother Charles b. ?. Susan's father was Charles Henry Yelland who appears in the Kelly's Directory for Gosport 1909/10. It would appear that there is no record of Susan in the 1901 British Census,and the records for Beatrice and Charles seem very unlikely.Can anyone shed any light on this family?
