KEATCHIE, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Randolph will be held Friday, August 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA. Officiating will be Reverend Charles Hall. Interment will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery in Converse, LA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 20, 2009 from 5PM - 9PM.
Cheryl Jean Yeoman Randolph was born September 29, 1927 in Fremont, Iowa to Reynhold W. Yeoman and Jennie Elizabeth Ross Machette. After a long and courageous battle and surrounded by the love of her family, Jean went to be with her Lord and Savior at her residence in Keatchie, LA on August 18, 2009.
Preceding her in death were her parents. Jean was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Her life centered around her family. Left here to cherish those special memories are her husband of 63 years; Joel A. Randolph, Sr., her children; Joel Andrew Randolph, Jr. and his wife Carol, Gloria Randolph Howard and her husband, John, Phillip Wayne Randolph and his wife, Marie, Richard Lee Randolph Sr., Ross Allen Randolph I and wife, Geneva, Rebecca Randolph Gaddy and her husband, Danny and Tanya Randolph Philan and her husband, Rick, Sister; Colleen White, 33 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carrying Mrs. Jean to her final resting place will be her grandsons; Joel Andrew Randolph III, Noble Edward Randolph, Joseph Shane Randolph, Bryan Wayne Randolph, Nicholas Putch III, David Louis Dice Jr., Joshua Arthur Dice, Ross Allen Randolph II, Richard Lee Randolph Jr., Tristan Michael Randolph, Garrett Randolph Jewell, Tanner Jacob Philan, Justin Dakota Bryant and Dustie Lee Bryant. Honorary Pallbearer will be Robert Chausse.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Willis-Knighton Hospice and have asked that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jean's name be made to Willis-Knighton Hospice.
Mrs. Jean was a strong Christian woman who valued her faith in God. Because of her faith, her family is comforted with the knowledge that tonight, Jean rests in peace in the loving arms of Jesus. Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath
